Six Word Fridays: The Best

The Best:

Having my daughter smile at me.

Giving me hugs and sloppy kisses.

Laying her head on my shoulder.

Then running over to her toys.

Glancing back, seeing I’m still there.

Ah, that connection to our kids.
    Best–reunion after an hour’s separation.

I’m hoping by the time she’s 20, I can stand to be away from her for more than an hour or two. πŸ˜‰
      Love your six words…..

Love your tagline. A humming bird on crack….it made me LOL.
I miss my kiddos being toddlers, it happened so fast and I look back to the times I couldn’t wait until they were both in school, and now that it’s happening, I miss those times and wish I had always savored it. Motherhood is such a wonderful, scary, happy, sad, heartbursting thing, isn’t it?

School?! You mean my baby has to leave me and go to school? πŸ˜‰ Lately she’s even more hyper than a hummingbird on crack. I asked my mom just yesterday when she’ll calm down, her response “Never”. lol

Mommyhood is a roller coaster ride and I wouldn’t change it for the world. πŸ™‚

The look back, worth the trouble
of always being on the double
what moms do, babes don’t know
just as well, love still shows.
