Thank you for the support from my last post. I feel like I’m dealing with the loss okay and then my emotions kick my ass. I really needed to get those thoughts out so again, thank you ladies.
I don’t normally set a schedule of what I’m going to post but I figured if I put it in a post and don’t pull through, you can kick my booty. I really want to start posting here more again.
I’ve been busier than expected with my other baby, Motherhood Uncovered. And yes, I will mention the new group site whenever I can. ;^)
So, this coming week I will be doing a post on my series of my half ass attempts at cooking (it’s my favorite one so far), one about my mother-in-law taking over my wedding and making it a cheesy suckfest (I had planned on writing that post earlier but life happens), and Jamie from Life Is Better With Me In It will be guest posting.
I still want to continue with guest posters because I love what you have to say, so if you’re interested then email me at email@example.com. And you don’t have to have a blog of your own either. You have the freedom to write about anything you want.
Like I’ve said many times to several people, I don’t bite and you have nothing to worry about. I’m not going to laugh at you over the interwebs…..unless your post is about idolizing Paris Hilton. That’s the one and only thing I can think of that would make me cringe.
Also, we will be putting guest posts on Motherhood Uncovered starting in November (possibly once a week) so if you would like to write a guest post there then email me with “guest post” in the subject line to firstname.lastname@example.org. Let me know if you just want your guest post on MU or both sites. You can also go to the MU site, click on the Contact Us page, and fill out the form.
Now for some music. I’m an Andrew Bird fanatic and if you haven’t heard his awesomeness, it’s a must. I particularly love rock music but also love indie/alternative.
My hubby and I have seen Andrew Bird live so many times, he’s really freaking amazing. If this sounds familiar, it’s because I’ve mentioned him countless times on my blog and I will make everyone an Andrew Bird lover if it’s the last thing I do!!! Agghhh!! Ahem. He’s not for everyone but I think his music is like an orgasm for your ears.
If you’re pressed for time, his musical eargasm starts around 2:36. Well, more like 0:00.
I first heard this song back in the 80’s while watching Nightmare On Elm Street: Part 28. I couldn’t find a better video but love to crank up this song on my iPod and dance around my bedroom, especially when my hubby is being a buttmunch or I’ve had a hard day with the little hummingbird.
