I have something to admit and I’m fairly ashamed to admit that I’ve gone to the other side. Are you ready? Brace yourselves and don’t tell my husband because I don’t want him to know because he could hold it over me.
I’ve found in the last month that I’m really loving this whole new-fangled cooking thing I’ve been doing. In my 30-ish years, I’ve always looked at cooking as a chore and boring. Like cleaning the toilet kind of chore. Or better worse yet, cleaning my hubby’s toilet. *blech*
Since I’ve been making skin care products and testing to find what works and what doesn’t, that’s made me become more aware that with cooking, the sky’s the limit.
Because I suck so bad at cooking and have tried different cookbooks over the years, the one cookbook that has really inspired me to cook and having a happy hubby is Curtis Stone’s Relaxed Cooking. I know I mentioned it a few posts down but for reals, the directions in the cookbook are so easy to follow.
And now on to What’s For Lunch?
My 3 year-old is a very picky eater but I try to keep giving her some variety as well as the food she loves, like mac n’ cheese.
Clockwise from left: orange slices, pirate’s booty, peanut butter and honey sandwich cut into stars, and string cheese.
Clockwise from left: blueberries, yogurt raisins, mini-triscuits, and mac n’ cheese.
Clockwise from left: orange slices, plain greek yogurt with honey and chopped pecans, Amy’s bean burrito, tortilla chips.
Clockwise from left: raisin and cinnamon bread with peanut butter and honey, granola bar, carrots, sliced with ranch dressing, red grapes, and peanuts.

I really love the look of these lunches. They make me hungry. Ma…………………..whats for lunch?
With my appetite in an ever changing state, cooking has pretty much gone out the window for me lately. But man, I want those peanut butter and honey stars NOW!
