These apple dumplings are so good, I wish I could have sex with them. I actually didn’t think they would come out that great so when I had my first bite and tasted the deliciousness, I pulled a When Harry Met Sally fake orgasm scene at the dinner table. Yes, they are that good. Enjoy!
2 sticks of butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup of sugar
2 tubes of crescent rolls
2 granny smith apples
12 ounces of lemon-lime soda or ginger ale
Peel and slice your apples. Put a dash of cinnamon on the crescent roll dough. Wrap each apple slice in the dough and place in a greased pan.
In a bowl, melt the butter and add the sugar and vanilla. Give it a stir.
Pour the butter mixture over the top of the wrapped apples.
Pout the lemon-lime soda all around and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Place in a 350 degree oven and bake for 30-40 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. So, so good!
