Book Suggestions: Mystery

a658a13627997ce052f6f032f3a59891I love books. All books. I’m such a book freak. Earlier today, I took the little hummingbird to her soon to be elementary school for her 3rd and final summer reading program check in where she was able to pick out three new (used) books, including Where The Red Fern Grows.

I read that book when I was a kid in school and if there weren’t any witnesses, I would’ve jumped up and down with excitement and squealed with delight when I saw that book lying in the box.

When it comes to her age group for summer reading, my 5 year-old rocked that shit. I love reading to her and hope she grows to love books as much as I do.

Would you consider Return to Grace worth 6 bucks?

While I can see it not being a book for everyone, I would say yes. Although, I did check it out at the library. I can be pretty picky about what books I buy in paperback or for my kindle (unless of course it’s anything by Stephen King or about the Kennedy’s ;)) so the library would be a safe bet. xo

thanks! I will see if my library has it. I have sort of gotten spoiled to only using my ipad to read books on. Our library has a pretty decent digital supply and Amazon has a cheap all you can read line. So I never have to get out in the heat or cold! lol

Lol! I totally understand. While I can be “old school” when it comes to buying actual books, I sure do love my kindle. 😀

If you do get the book, I hope you enjoy it. It starts off rather slow but I really liked it.

I’m reading several books right now and one I just started that has a great plot is Still Life: A Novel by Joy Fielding. A woman is hit by a car and in a coma, but she’s able to hear the things around her and finds the accident she was in may not have been an accident after all.

Also, I’m really loving Bittersweet. xoxo
